Our History
A Legacy of Innovation Since 1916
Our founder, Abraham Vexler, began recycling in the early 1900s with a horse-drawn wagon and a vision. He established Monterrey Iron & Metal in San Antonio in 1916. Through wars, recessions, and rapid industrial evolution, the Vexler family has guided the company with resilience ─ expanding capabilities and facilities across generations.
