Jack Vexler
Owner

Jack, the third generation of Vexlers to lead Monterrey Metal Recycling Solutions, has been at the helm since 1969. He is the lead contact for industrial accounts and the company’s chief problem solver. When complex challenges arise, the buck stops with Jack.

Jordan Vexler
CEO

Jordan, a fourth generation Vexler family leader, brings a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, innovation, and community impact to Monterrey Metal Recycling Solutions and Monterrey Transloading Solutions. She is an active member of ISRI, advocating nationally for safe, economically sustainable recycling practices. Fluent in Spanish, Jordan holds degrees from Rice University and the London School of Economics. She began her career in public policy, working with Appleseed and CIMAS in Ecuador to address poverty and social equity. Since joining MMRS, she has driven modernization efforts, deepened community involvement, and expanded the company’s capacity to serve the evolving needs of San Antonio’s industrial sector.

David Vexler
VP - Account Services

Starting at the scale in 2003 and working his way up, David has gained knowledge in most areas of Monterrey’s day-to-day operations.  Today, he spends most of his time handling Account Services, but also oversees compliance, material purchasing, new business, and export scheduling.  He also likes to think of himself as 2nd in command of the problem-solving department.

Jeff Vexler
VP - Customer & Community Relations

Having gotten dirty with his boots on the ground, Jeff brings the micro level analysis of customers’ needs for recycling solutions.   After a decade running MMRS’ second location, Toucan Recycling, he understands what it takes to execute a recycling program from start to finish.

As a graduate of the George Washington University School of Business, Jeff brings a commitment to environmental responsibility to his roles.   Jeff is also an active member of SAMA, ABC, STBP, and the SAMFCO, where he works closely with San Antonio business leaders in shaping our city’s future.  His forward-facing community involvement spans from walking the neighborhoods on National Night Out to volunteering with Elf Louise, and hosting back to school events alongside San Antonio’s City Councilpersons.

Harold Vexler
Of Blessed Memory

Harold, the second generation of Vexlers to lead the company, began working alongside his father, Abraham, in the early 1920s. Over the decades, he witnessed the transformation of the industry and helped guide Monterrey through pivotal moments in its growth. At the time of his passing in 2015, at the age of 100, Harold served as company historian and was often heard reminiscing about “the times before aluminum.” Until just weeks before his death, he continued to visit the yard daily to connect with longtime coworkers and loyal customers. He is deeply missed, and his wisdom, humor, and traditions remain woven into the fabric of our operations.
